Real Slow

The story beings so long ago
People were lost and their hearts were cold
You know

God came down in the form of man
To walk the streets and understand
You know

But sin was there and it hit the fan
They crucified the Son of man real slow
Don't you know they did it real slow
Don't you know they did it real slow

Nowhere To Run

It amazes me at mistakes I've made in a life I'll no longer live
I look back at the last four years and all of the things that He did
I watched Him take a little girl from the darkest side of death
And then I watched Him feed the multitudes with one handful of bread

With tear-filled eyes I watch the silver spill
I look out across the horizon from a tree upon a hill
Hell's fire's not hot enough for the damage I've done
In an effort to manipulate the Truth
I've turned away from the Son
And there's nowhere to run there ain't nowhere for me to run

I close my eyes and I feel this presence
Even now it calls me back
I want to say that I'm sorry but I'm too far off the track
If I had to do it over you know that I never would have made the deal
The words of man cannot explain the sorrow that I feel

With tear filled eyes I watch the silver spill
I look out at the horizon from a tree upon a hill
Hell's fire is not hot enough for the damage I've done
In an effort to manipulate the Truth you know I've turned away from the Son
And there's nowhere to run

There ain't nowhere for me to run
There ain't nowhere to run
There ain't nowhere for me to run
There's nowhere to run
