I Want to Stay Home with You
I lock the house at night walk around turning off lights
Then I go upstairs and pray with my kids
Head on downstairs find my wife down there
Then we drift off to sleep sweet dreams again
When I was young I never thought I’d have it this good
I’m living like a king But, I’m more like Robin Hood
And I’ll take all that I can get cause’ their love makes me rich
Coffee and cream in the morning
Enjoy my last cup as my truck is warming
It’s time to go but I want to stay home
And maybe sit around and watch T.V.
Sounds like a perfect day to me
But I’ve gotta’ head north on highway 31
The city’s really not my style
I like sittin’ on the porch
Maybe read for a while
But on and on and on I go
I just want to stay home |
